The Opportunity
- Join a well-established main contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands and South
- Work on a mix of public and private sector bids across construction and frameworks
- Take ownership of end-to-end bid production - from PQQs to final submissions
- Collaborate with pre-construction, commercial and operational teams
What You'll Be Doing
- Write, edit and manage high-quality bid and tender submissions
- Interpret client requirements and translate them into clear, persuasive responses
- Lead bid programmes and coordinate inputs across teams
- Improve and maintain a strong bid library and content bank
- Ensure submissions are compliant, structured and tailored to each client
- Support continuous improvement of bid processes and win strategy
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Bid Writer within construction or a main contractor environment
- Strong understanding of public sector frameworks and tender processes
- Excellent written English - clear, concise and engaging
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
