Are you a sharp, commercially minded Development Manager who thrives in fast moving residential and mixed-use environments? Do you enjoy taking projects from first glance to final handover - and switching gears quickly when needed? This team is looking for a Development Manager who can run projects end to end across a broad portfolio: student accommodation, residential schemes, estate-based works and anything in between. Perfect for someone who wants ownership, pace and variety - not a slow, corporate machine.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading schemes from pre-acquisition through planning, design, development, delivery and handover
- Running appraisals and presenting clear recommendations
- Managing consultants and ensuring quality, cost and programme control
- Handling a mix of large developments and smaller estate-level projects
- Working closely with land, planning, construction and asset teams
- Switching between projects quickly - this is a role for someone who enjoys variety and momentum
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 5+ years in Development, Project Management or running your own projects
- Strong residential background; student accommodation experience preferred
- Ideally with a Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying background/degree
- Confident across the full project lifecycle, from concept to completion
- Someone not looking to start immediately - ideal if you are thinking ahead to your next move
- Professional, proactive, and comfortable working in a full time office environment to begin with
Why join?
- High autonomy with real influence on schemes
- Young, energetic and socially active team culture
- Monthly drinks, events and cross-team catch-ups
- Exposure to multiple asset types and project sizes
- Open-plan setup with real collaboration
