65000 - 70000 per annumNewcastle upon Tyne, EnglandPermanentOur client, a key player in the water sector, is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:Managing and issuing accurate, timely, and compliant notices and correspondenceIdentifying contractual and commercial risks and opportunitiesPreparing and agreeing on applications for payment or assessing and preparing payment certificatesMaintaining registers of variations, delays, extension times, and claimsImplementing the company's commercial policies and procedures consistentlyAssisting in the preparation of monthly progress valuations and claims for completed workInterfacing with customer's commercial and project teamsProducing pre-contract tender negotiations and reports where necessaryProducing monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract leader reportsAdvising on value management and risk managementPreparing supply chain enquiries, negotiating, administering, and finalising supply chain contractsPlanning and implementing change management and cost controlJob Requirements:RICS accredited DegreeQuantity Surveying experience in the construction industryDemonstrable financial and commercial acumenExperience drafting effective contractual correspondenceProven negotiating and team-working skillsStrong analytical skillsLegal, contractual, and construction knowledgeThe perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to make a significant impact within the water sector.
