Associate Director – Cost Management\\n\\nLocation: London\\n\\nSalary: £90,000 + bonus + benefits\\n\\nStart: Early January preferred Contract: Permanent (12month contract also considered)\\n\\nWe are working with a leading construction consultancy experiencing rapid growth and looking for an ambitious Associate Director (Cost Management) to join their London team. This is a senior opportunity to shape the commercial delivery of major private and public sector developments ranging from £1m to £350m.\\n\\nIf you're commercially minded, confident with clients, and ready to take ownership of multiple high value projects, this role offers the platform to do exactly that.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nYou will lead the delivery of pre and post contract cost management services, working closely with clients, funders, developers, and design teams while supporting and developing a growing internal team.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nPre and Post Construction & Cost Planning – Lead cost plans, feasibility studies, and earlystage cost advice\\n\\nTendering & Procurement – Manage tender processes, negotiate contracts, and maintain procurement schedules \\n\\nContract Administration – Administer JCT/bespoke contracts, manage valuations, variations, and financial reporting\\n\\nCommercial Delivery – Oversee multiple projects, monitor performance, and ensure accurate forecasting\\n\\nClient Engagement – Act as the key commercial contact, providing strategic cost and procurement advice\\n\\nTeam Leadership – Mentor junior staff, review outputs, and promote a collaborative team culture\\n\\nBusiness Growth – Support Directors with planning, contribute to bids, and identify value?adding opportunities\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\nDegree in Quantity Surveying + MRICS\\n\\n5+ years post qualification experience\\n\\nResidential experience highly desirable\\n\\nConsultancy background essential\\n\\nExcellent communication and client facing skills\\n\\nStrong understanding of JCT contracts\\n\\nConfident self starter with commercial awareness\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\nAnnual performancerelated bonus\\n\\nPrivate health insurance & life assurance\\n\\nCompany pension scheme\\n\\nEV & Cycle to Work schemes\\n\\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\\n\\nEmployee Assistance Programme\\n\\nPersonal learning plan with funded development\\n\\nHow to Apply\\n\\nIf you're ready to take the next step in your career with a leading construction consultancy, apply today.
