We're on the lookout for an Assistant Transport Planner to work on the delivery of development planning projects in varied sectors, at a leading London Transport Planning Consultancy, situated in the City of London.
The company is a well-established team of over forty professionals, split between their five offices, with a strong showing in London. They are a key industry player in the UK market but retain all the charm and career progression benefits of working with a smaller company!
Working with this leading London company, you will have the chance to build your portfolio with a wide range of projects, from small-scale developments to major infrastructure schemes. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including architects, engineers, and urban designers to deliver high-quality transport planning services. The sectors involved are varied and include retail, residential, sport and leisure, commercial, health, distribution, education and energy.
Transport Planner - Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans.
- Conducting traffic and transport data analysis.
- Assessing the transport impact of proposed developments.
- A degree in Transport Planning or a related field.
- Some prior experience in Transport Planning, preferably in a consultancy environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
