Our client is looking to add an Assistant Site Engineer to join their team in delivering major infrastructure works. As an Assistant Site Engineer, you will play a key role in interpreting technical designs, coordinating site activities, and supporting programme delivery across your section of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand design specifications and drawings
- Carry out accurate setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment
- Deliver setting out for earthworks and drainage
- Review design information and raise technical queries to the Section Engineer and Site Engineers to ensure smooth workflow
- Contribute to the 4-week lookahead programme for your area's works
- Work closely with supervisors, Site Engineers and the Section Engineer to co-ordinate effectively with other site activities
- Support delivery of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Identify, report, and close out Non-Conformances (NCRs)
- Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, enabling functions, and client representatives
About You
- Experience delivering earthworks, drainage or RC frames
- Competent with GPS and Total Station equipment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proactive and quality-driven approach
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A civil engineering educational / on-site background
- A valid and relevant CSCS card
- A full UK driving licence
