Job Advert: Asset Change Manager (Temp)
Location: Reading (3-4 days per week on-site)
Contract Length: ASAP – 30th June 2026.
Hourly Rate: 50 – 70 per hour
Working Hours: 9-day working pattern (full-time/part-time options)
Notice Period: 4 weeks
We are seeking an experienced Asset Change Manager to drive the efficient delivery of asset change requests. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing asset change initiatives with compliance to nuclear safety standards and conventional industry regulations, ensuring that all changes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations. DV Clearance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning and coordination of Asset Change Requests (ACRs) across the relevant Tech Centre/ACB portfolio.
- Ensure all ACRs are delivered with an appropriate balance between delivery speed and compliant outcomes.
- Deliver performance data on ACRs to Tech Centre/ACB Visual Management boards, ensuring metrics and KPIs are met.
- Participate actively in Change Boards and contribute to Management Reviews of ACR assessments.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external teams.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of safety, health, security, and environmental practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- HNC / HND / Graduate level qualification in business management, project management, or related disciplines would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Experience in managing complex asset/facility-related problems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver solutions to challenging change-control issues.
- DV Clearance is essential.
