Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing environmental advice, guidance and support to project delivery teams across construction sites
- Carrying out environmental inspections, audits and monitoring activities, ensuring findings are communicated and actions implemented
- Supporting compliance with ISO14001, ISO50001 and environmental licences, permits and other regulatory requirements
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of environmental documentation, including Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs), waste management plans and environmental risk assessments
- Monitoring energy consumption and carbon performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and reducing environmental impact
- Supporting water pollution prevention measures and effective silt management on construction projects
