We're currently working with a leading civil engineering contractor to support a key infrastructure scheme in West Yorkshire, and are looking to engage a Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis. This is a site-based opportunity on a long-term project, offering exposure to a complex and fast-paced delivery environment.
The Role
Working as part of an established commercial team, you'll be supporting across a live project within a cost reimbursable / NEC contract environment. Key responsibilities will include:
- Cost capture, reporting and forecasting
- Management and assessment of change / Compensation Events
- Supporting subcontractor management
- Maintaining commercial processes and contract compliance
- Liaising with operational teams on site
Requirements
- Experience operating as a QS within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts (cost reimbursable / target cost experience preferred)
- Ability to operate effectively in a site-based role
- Strong commercial and analytical skillset
