You'll receive hands-on mentoring from experienced engineers while gaining exposure to large-scale projects involving EV charging infrastructure, power networks, renewable energy integration and grid connections.
The Opportunity As a Graduate Grid Connections Manager, you'll support the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you'll develop a strong understanding of grid connections, electrical design, stakeholder management and project delivery.

What You'll Be Doing Supporting the design and coordination of electrical infrastructure and grid connection projects.
Assisting with feasibility studies to assess network capacity and connection opportunities.
Liaising with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), contractors and other external stakeholders.
Reviewing electrical designs and technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Supporting the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects from design through commissioning.
Assisting with testing, commissioning and technical assurance activities.
Helping integrate renewable energy technologies and battery storage solutions into electrical infrastructure projects.
Ensuring projects comply with current UK electrical regulations and safety standards.
Monitoring project progress and supporting reporting requirements.
Keeping up to date with developments in grid connections, renewable energy and electrical engineering.
What We're Looking For Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and UK regulations (BS7671).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Experience Experience gained through placements, internships or university projects involving any of the following would be advantageous: Power distribution or grid connections.
Renewable energy or battery energy storage.
EV charging infrastructure.
Electrical design software such as Amtech, Trimble or similar.
Working with DNOs, ICPs, EPC contractors or engineering consultancies.
