I'm currently representing a leading transport consultancy in their search for a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join their London headquarters. This is an opportunity to become part of an established and highly respected team that delivers transport planning solutions for some of the UK's most complex and high-profile development and infrastructure projects. The business has built an excellent reputation across the planning and development sector, working with major developers, architects, local authorities and infrastructure providers on projects that shape towns, cities and transport networks across the UK and internationally.
The Opportunity
As a Senior or Principal Transport Planner, you'll play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects while managing clients, supporting junior team members and contributing to the ongoing success of the London office. You'll be given the autonomy to lead projects, develop client relationships and influence project outcomes while benefiting from the support of a well-established and highly experienced team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Managing projects across a range of development and infrastructure sectors
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Providing strategic transport planning advice
- Supporting business development and work-winning activities
- Mentoring and developing junior consultants
- Contributing to the growth and success of the wider transport planning team
