Our client is a respected independent transport and infrastructure planning consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work across the UK and internationally. They work on diverse and high-profile projects for both public and private sector clients, including local authorities, major developments, and strategic infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You'll support the delivery of transport development planning projects, including:
  • Large new residential schemes
  • Office, retail, and leisure projects
  • Town centre regeneration
  • Active travel and sustainable transport projects

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and delivery/service plans
  • Conducting swept path analyses and supporting planning applications
  • Producing strategies and technical reports
  • Performing traffic modelling using software such as Arcady, Picady and Linsig.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-4 years of experience in transport planning, ideally within development planning
  • A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Geography, Civil Engineering, Transport Planning)
  • Experience using AutoCAD and related Autodesk software
