We\’re working with a growing consultancy renowned for delivering high-quality transport planning support to planning applications across the country. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a technically strong and sociable team, working across a diverse portfolio of projects in the private development sector.
Whether you\’re early in your career or looking to deepen your expertise in the planning space, you\’ll be supported by experienced professionals and exposed to all stages of the planning process.
Your Role:
You\’ll play an integral part in the delivery of transport planning services that support development proposals, including:
- Transport Assessments and Statements
- Travel Plans and Travel Demand Strategies
- Site access and layout reviews
- Masterplan input and feasibility studies
- Parking and servicing strategies
- Pre-application support and planning appeal input
- Liaising with planning consultants, architects, and local authorities
- Preparing technical reports and supporting documents for submission
Who We\’re Looking For
- 1-3+ years\’ experience in development-related transport planning
- Understanding of the UK planning system and planning application process
- Familiarity with TRICS, Junctions 9 (ARCADY/PICADY), LINSIG, AutoCAD
- Clear, concise technical report writing skills
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and commercially aware
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or similar
- Working toward (or interested in) professional accreditation (CIHT, TPS, ICE)
