An established and award-winning Building Services consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Caterham. This is an opportunity to work with a highly respected, multi-disciplinary engineering practice known for delivering innovative, low-carbon and sustainable design solutions across a wide range of sectors in the built environment.
The Role
- Leading mechanical design on a variety of building services projects
- Managing projects from initial brief through to technical delivery and site stages
- Producing and reviewing calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, public health, and sustainability specialists
- Attending client and design team meetings, building strong working relationships
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and sustainability targets
