Would you like to work near Brighton in a social and fun office? This structural consultancy is part of a larger group of companies, including an architecture firm and construction and joinery firm, all housed together in one office near Brighton, with another office near Eastbourne (option to work out of either).

The company group has around 90 staff in total, with approximately 25 office based staff. The structural engineering team is small and looking to expand as they are so busy. The projects are mainly in the residential sector, often for private clients, as well as some small commercial schemes.

Good communication skills are essential, as well as good technical problem solving skills. The role will include:

  • Structural design
  • Structural reports
  • Site inspections and surveys
  • Assessments of existing and listed buildings
  • Providing technical recommendations
