Structural Engineer – Temporary Works
London, WC2
£45k-£65k per annum.
A well-established, highly reputable specialist Temporary Works Design Consultancy has an opening for a Structural Engineer to join their proficient and experienced team at their Central London office.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of temporary works, including demolition, needling, propping, façade retentions, foundation designs, stability and alteration works, basements, geotechnical works and some permanent works.
- Work on a variety of large building projects involving high-profile and complex buildings.
- Deliver high-quality design solutions in a contractor-led, often reactive work environment.
Qualifications
- At least a few years of experience as a structural engineer working in buildings environment.
- Full right to work in the UK and live within commuting distance of London.
- Temporary works design experience is preferable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and English language ability.
- Desire to achieve Chartered status and willingness to undertake relevant training.
