The Role
You'll lead your own projects while collaborating with a national network of design professionals. Expect variety, autonomy, and the chance to help grow and strengthen a dynamic fire engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fire engineering solutions across diverse sectors
- Manage multiple projects from concept to completion
- Ensure compliance with fire safety standards and codes
- Stay up to date with evolving regulations and legislation
- Assess and mitigate fire-related risks
- Review fire safety installations and provide technical feedback
- Prepare reports and contribute to design team meetings
- Support tenders and help secure new work
What You'll Bring
- Engineering degree (ideally fire engineering)
- Proven track record delivering fire safety projects
- Familiarity with BS9999, NFPA 130, BS9992, EN45545
- Fire modelling experience (advantageous)
- Experience beyond the building sector (bonus)
- Ambition to achieve Chartered Fire Engineer status
- Strong commercial awareness and client focus
