I'm currently working with a well-established, internationally recognised engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Contract Civil 3D Technician on an interim basis while they recruit for a permanent team member. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded engineering business with a strong pipeline of developer-led projects across the UK, alongside exposure to a range of international developments.

The Role

You will be supporting a busy civils team, producing detailed designs and technical drawings using Civil 3D across a variety of infrastructure and development schemes. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Civil 3D modelling and drafting
  • Drainage design and detailing
  • Highways and external works design
  • Production of technical drawings and design packages
  • Working closely with engineers and project teams across multiple projects
  • Supporting UK developer-led schemes and selected international projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Technician
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Experience delivering drainage and highways designs
  • Background working on developer-led residential, commercial or mixed-use projects
  • Ability to work independently within a remote environment
  • Previous consultancy experience preferred
