An established and growing multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a highly motivated Building Surveyor to join its expanding London & South East team. The organisation delivers a wide range of high-profile construction and refurbishment projects - from residential projects to major commercial schemes - across the UK and internationally, supported by a collaborative culture and a strong commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
- Deliver a broad range of building surveying services across multiple sectors and projects
- Undertake and lead condition surveys, measured surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence
- Manage and deliver project management and contract administration duties
- Lead refurbishment, maintenance and small-to-medium capital projects from inception through to completion
- Act as a key point of contact within multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards across all projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline (RICS-accredited preferred)
- Proven experience in building surveying within a consultancy or similar environment
- Strong understanding of building pathology, construction processes and statutory compliance
- Experience in project management and contract administration across pre- and post-contract stages
- Good working knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools advantageous
