Senior Civil Engineer – Highways, Drainage & Development Infrastructure

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with experience in infrastructure design (highways, drainage, earthworks) who wants to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking team delivering residential, commercial, and public sector schemes.

The Role
You will play a key role in leading and delivering design elements across a broad range of infrastructure schemes, including:
- Highways design (S38/S278) – preliminary and detailed
- Drainage design (S104/S98), including foul pumping stations, SuDS, flow control and balancing
- Earthworks and site levels for development schemes
- Close collaboration with planners, architects, and external stakeholders
- Mentoring junior engineers and managing design workflows
Projects will span residential developments, retail parks, education facilities, major public buildings, and more.
What You'll Need
- Background in civil infrastructure design (highways or drainage)
- Experience working on UK development projects
- Proficiency with software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, or PDS
- BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Ambition to work towards Chartership (support provided)
