Key Responsibilities
- Managing and delivering a broad range of building surveying services, including condition surveys, defect analysis, feasibility studies and technical due diligence
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation
- Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Acting as a key client interface, building and maintaining strong working relationships
- Overseeing contract administration, including monitoring works on site and managing contractor performance
- Providing professional advice across education, commercial, healthcare and other sectors
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to knowledge-sharing within the wider consultancy
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and industry best practice
Requirements
- MRICS accreditation or working towards it
- A relevant Building Surveying degree (or equivalent)
- Strong technical expertise in building surveying
- Proven ability to manage programmes and budgets effectively
- Experience in relevant sectors such as education, healthcare or commercial would be ideal
- Excellent client-facing skills and relationship-building capabilityExperience leading interdisciplinary teams (advantageous)
