Do you have experience working as a Section Engineer in the civil engineering sector? Are you currently looking for your next challenge? Then read on as we may have the right role for you. Our client, a civil engineering contractor, is looking to add a Section Engineer to their team and can offer an interesting and challenging project with long term work guaranteed.
You will be responsible for a section of works and whilst reporting into the Sub Agent you will:
- Manage the engineering team and subcontractors of your section ensuring all RAMS are written before works commence.
- Ensure ITP's are recorded and are up to industry standard.
- Monitor the work to ensure that any H&S concerns and non-compliance with company policies are quickly rectified.
- Maintain an up to date and accurate monthly programme.
The relevant candidate will:
- Be able to display previous experience in a similar position. (highways experience is a bonus!)
- Ideally a Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- CSCS.
- Driving Licence.
- SMSTS and first Aid (beneficial but not essential).
