Job Description Senior Quantity Surveyor £65,000 - £75,000 + package London / East London \n A leading UK infrastructure and civil engineering contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major depot project in East London. \n This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS to take ownership of a significant package of works, working closely with the Project and Commercial teams across the full commercial lifecycle. \n The role: \n \n Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of allocated packages \n Lead valuations, applications, variations and final accounts \n Monitor project costs, forecasts and financial performance \n Manage subcontract procurement and commercial relationships \n Identify and maximise commercial opportunities \n Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure commercial performance \n Support the wider commercial team and contribute to project strategy \n \n About you: \n \n Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor \n Background in civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction projects \n Strong NEC contract knowledge \n Confident managing subcontractors and commercial negotiations \n Good understanding of cost control, forecasting and change management \n Able to work independently while operating effectively within a project team \n \n This is a long-term opportunity with a contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK, with genuine scope for career progression. \n Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package \n If you're a Senior QS looking for a substantial project and a role where you can take real commercial ownership, get in touch. \n Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality. n For the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies we are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary/contract vacancies we are acting as an Employment Business. \
