The Opportunity
Our client is a leading, independent construction consultancy based in London, with a strong reputation in the residential sector. They combine the credibility of a top-tier brand with the personal, tailored career development of a close-knit team. They\βre growing, and they\βre looking for a Quantity Surveyor who\βs passionate about delivering homes that stand out β not just buildings that fill space.
Your Role Will Include:
- Cost planning and management from early feasibility through to project completion
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, procurement advice, and tender documents
- Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Contract administration, primarily under JCT and NEC forms
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring projects run on time and within budget
- Working collaboratively with architects, project managers, and engineers to bring projects to life
What You Bring:
- Experience in a consultancy (PQS) environment
- A strong background in residential construction projects (private, affordable, mixed-use welcome)
- MRICS qualified β or very close to achieving it
- Client-facing confidence and a collaborative approach
