Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to build your career with a reputable civil engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure and structures projects?
We are working with a well-established civils contractor that continues to secure repeat work across a range of infrastructure schemes. Due to sustained growth, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of live civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to final account. While structures experience would be advantageous, the client is open to QSs from a broader civils background with strong commercial fundamentals.
Key responsibilities will include:

Commercial management of one or more civil engineering projects

Cost control, forecasting, and reporting

Procurement of subcontractors and materials

Valuations, variations, and change control

Subcontractor management and commercial negotiations

Supporting final accounts and client liaison
About You

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure

Background in structures, highways, groundworks, or general civils welcomed

Strong understanding of NEC or similar forms of contract

Commercially astute with good communication skills

Able to work collaboratively with project and site teams
