Are you an experienced Planner with knowledge of civil engineering schemes? Are you looking for a fresh challenge? Then we may just have your very next role.Our client is looking to add an experienced planner to their project working out of their offices in the North West.
They are involved in some interesting heavy civil engineering construction works and having been succesful on several recent framework wins, are looking to add a planner to their existing team.They are a well known company with a low turnover of staff, where the culture encourages long term careers. They are paying a competitve market relecvant salary based upon the skills and experience you bring to the table.The roleYour duties will include:Construct and maintain detailed programmes from first principles including resource and cost loadingInput into construction techniques and buildability of construction methodsCo-ordinate with the project teams on all programme aspectsManage short term planning with the project teamsTake ownership of the programme to drive project deliveryCommunicate programme information, risk and commercial issues to operational teams.Update and monitor project progressIntroduce and analyse change in programmes and support the commercial teamsEvaluate supply chain and subcontract programmesThe candidateYou will haveA qualification in civil engineering or construction to HND level or equivalent is essentialIdeally a background in site based engineering role previouslyAble to display previous experience in a similar roleCompetent in the use of P6 software.If this sounds of interest then do apply with a copy of your CV asap!Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
