We're working with a well-established civil engineering contractor that delivers a diverse range of infrastructure, environmental and coastal projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across technically interesting projects while developing your commercial expertise within a supportive and experienced team.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of projects from early procurement through to final account, ensuring strong cost control and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitoring project budgets, forecasting and cash flow
- Assisting with subcontractor negotiations and final accounts
- Working closely with operational teams to manage commercial risk and opportunity
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
Good understanding of standard forms of contract (NEC experience beneficial).
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with project and operational teams.
Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
