We are working with a highly respected, employee-owned structural and civil engineering consultancy renowned for delivering intelligent, practical and low-carbon solutions on some of the UK's most challenging and architecturally significant projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Geotechnical Engineer to strengthen their expanding geotechnical capability and play a key role in the delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects.
Working closely with structural, civil and environmental teams, you will provide geotechnical input across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from commercial developments and residential schemes to cultural, education and major urban regeneration projects.
You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and site investigation through to detailed foundation design and construction support.
- Undertake geotechnical design and analysis for a variety of development projects.
- Interpret ground investigation data and prepare geotechnical assessment reports.
- Design foundations, retaining structures and earthworks solutions.
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors, architects and project teams.
- Provide construction-stage technical support and attend site visits.
- Contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions, including foundation optimisation and embodied carbon reduction initiatives.
- Assist with project management, programme delivery and client relationship management.
