A forward‑thinking construction consultancy is expanding its London team and is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major data centre project in West London. The Role
You will take a leading role across the full project lifecycle, from early‑stage planning through to delivery, ensuring successful outcomes on complex data centre schemes. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading project setup, feasibility, and early‑stage planning activities
- Managing programme, cost, risk, and reporting processes
- Acting as the key interface between clients, consultants, and contractors
- Chairing and contributing to client, design, and site meetings
- Driving project progress, identifying risks, and implementing solutions
- Overseeing procurement processes, including tendering and contractor selection
- Managing change control, commercial performance, and value engineering
- Ensuring delivery against programme, quality, budget, and safety targets
About you
This role suits an ambitious and commercially aware Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with experience in complex construction environments. You will bring:
- Experience delivering projects within the private construction sector (data centre experience highly desirable)
- Consultancy‑side experience (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- A construction‑related degree
- Progress toward or achievement of professional accreditation (APM, RICS, CIOB)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A full UK driving licence
