We are currently partnering with a well-established surveying consultancy in West London to recruit an experienced Party Wall Surveyor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business known for its excellent culture, strong client relationships, and diverse project workload across residential and public sector schemes.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering party wall services across a varied portfolio of projects throughout West and Central London. The work is predominantly project-based, including residential extensions and conversions, alongside exposure to education schemes and instructions from local authorities, estates, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing party wall matters from instruction through to resolution
- Serving notices and preparing/agreeing Party Wall Awards
- Acting for building owners and adjoining owners
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Conducting site inspections and preparing detailed reports/schedules of condition
- Supporting on a range of residential projects including extensions and refurbishments
- Assisting with broader surveying work where required
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Party Wall Surveyor
- Good working knowledge of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Experience across other surveying services would be a plus
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects
- Based within a commutable distance of West London
- A stable career history demonstrating commitment
- Positive attitude and strong cultural fit - team-focused and personable
