An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Project Manager to join a well-established commercial fit out contractor delivering a CAT A office project in London. This role has been created with clear progression in mind and will suit someone who already has exposure to commercial fit out projects and is looking to develop into a fully-fledged Project Manager in the near future.

You will work closely with a Project Manager, providing hands-on support across both project administration and core project management duties. This is a great opportunity to gain end-to-end project exposure on a live site within a fast-paced fit out environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day project administration and paperwork
  • Tracking project progress, programmes and key milestones
  • Assisting with the management and coordination of subcontractors on site
  • Monitoring quality, health and safety and ensuring works are delivered in line with project requirements
  • Attending site and client meetings, taking notes and following up on actions
  • Assisting with procurement, document control and reporting
  • Supporting the Project Manager with cost control, variations and general project coordination
Experience required
  • Previous experience within commercial fit out is essential
  • Must have worked on CAT A, CAT B or office refurbishment projects
  • Experience supporting a Project Manager or working in a junior project delivery role
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced fit out environment

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with subcontractors and internal teams
  • Proactive, eager to learn and keen to progress into a Project Manager role
