An award‑winning, employee‑owned engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civils Technician to join its growing London team. The practice is known for delivering low‑carbon, sustainable developments across some of the UK's most complex urban sites. Projects include commercial offices, residential schemes, warehouses, logistics facilities, redevelopment schemes, mixed‑use developments and major urban regeneration projects.
The Role
As a Civils Technician, you will work closely with engineers, architects and wider design teams to produce high‑quality technical drawings and Civil 3D models across a variety of development projects. The role involves supporting the delivery of drainage and highways designs, external works, level strategies and infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction. You will coordinate information across disciplines, prepare detailed technical drawings and assist engineers in delivering practical, buildable and sustainable solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Civil Technician or Civil CAD Technician within a consultancy environment.
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Experience producing drainage and highways designs using Civil 3D.
- Experience preparing technical drawings for development infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of levels, earthworks, utilities coordination and drainage design principles.
- Strong attention to detail and drawing coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary design teams.
