Key Responsibilities - Associate Project Manager:
- Lead and deliver high-quality project and programme management services across all project phases.
- Act as a key client-facing lead, providing trusted advice on cost, programme, risk, and strategic decision-making.
- Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant and contractor teams, driving collaboration and performance.
- Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication.
- Prepare and present detailed project documentation, including programmes, risk registers, and progress reports.
- Develop and implement robust project delivery strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Support business growth by contributing to bids, proposals, and client development initiatives.
- Mentor, manage, and support junior and mid-level team members, helping to develop future talent.
Requirements:
- A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, RICS, or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
- Strong experience delivering projects within a construction consultancy or similar environment.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of industry best practice in Project and Programme Management.
- Experience managing projects from inception through to completion, both pre- and post-contract.
- Sound knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
- Ability to remain calm, organised, and decisive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
