We are working with a well-established and highly respected construction consultancy in London that is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Project Manager to join their growing team. The business partners with forward-thinking clients to deliver complex and prestigious developments across a range of sectors from retail to commercial, combining technical excellence with clarity and creativity. Key Responsibilities - Associate Project Manager:
  • Lead and deliver high-quality project and programme management services across all project phases.
  • Act as a key client-facing lead, providing trusted advice on cost, programme, risk, and strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant and contractor teams, driving collaboration and performance.
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication.
  • Prepare and present detailed project documentation, including programmes, risk registers, and progress reports.
  • Develop and implement robust project delivery strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Support business growth by contributing to bids, proposals, and client development initiatives.
  • Mentor, manage, and support junior and mid-level team members, helping to develop future talent.
Requirements:
  • A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, RICS, or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
  • Strong experience delivering projects within a construction consultancy or similar environment.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of industry best practice in Project and Programme Management.
  • Experience managing projects from inception through to completion, both pre- and post-contract.
  • Sound knowledge of JCT contracts.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, organised, and decisive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
