Job Description Senior Building Surveyor \n West & Central London | Construction Consultancy | Up to £70,000 DOE \n Ready to take the next step in your Building Surveying career? \n We're working with a growing construction consultancy that is building an excellent reputation across West and Central London. With a strong pipeline of work and an expanding client base, they're looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join the team and play a key role in the continued growth of the business. \n This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just project delivery - you'll have the autonomy to manage your own work, build strong client relationships and have a genuine influence on the direction of the team. The Role \n You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects across sectors including: \n \n High-end residential and landlord portfolios \n Local authority projects across London \n Education \n Refurbishment and maintenance \n Party Wall matters, particularly within the residential sector \n \n Your responsibilities will include : \n \n Managing projects from initial instruction through to completion \n Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and maintenance schemes \n Preparing specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation \n Managing contractors, consultants and site progress \n Chairing site meetings and monitoring programme, cost and quality \n Carrying out surveys, preparing reports and providing technical advice \n Developing and maintaining strong client relationships \n Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors and apprentices \n Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the service \n Handling Party Wall matters where required \n \n About You \n We're looking for an experienced Building Surveyor who can operate confidently and independently, ideally with: \n \n 10+ years' Building Surveying experience \n MRICS status preferred, but not essential \n Strong Contract Administration experience \n A broad Building Surveying background across multiple service lines \n Experience managing projects and client relationships autonomously \n Excellent communication and organisational skills \n A positive, dependable approach and genuine ambition to progress \n \n Most importantly, you'll be someone who values teamwork, client relationships and long-term development, and wants to be part of a business where your contribution is genuinely recognised. n \n Salary up to £70,000 DOE \n Bonus opportunities \n Mileage reimbursement for site visits \n 25 days annual leave + bank holidays \n CPD support and allowance \n Pension \n Long-term career progression \n Supportive and collaborative team environment \n \n Why Join? \n You'll have the autonomy to make your mark, the variety to keep your role interesting and the opportunity to develop your career alongside a business that is going places. \n Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality. n For the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies we are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary/contract vacancies we are acting as an Employment Business. \
