An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Electrical Engineer to join a highly respected multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. This role offers the chance to lead and develop electrical engineering projects across a diverse portfolio including commercial workplaces, education, healthcare, leisure, and public sector developments. You'll play a key role in project delivery, client relationships, team development, and the continued growth of the Building Services team in Leeds.
As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across multiple projects, overseeing design delivery while mentoring junior engineers and supporting business development activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion across all RIBA stages.
- Manage project programmes, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Undertake and oversee site surveys, inspections, witness testing, and technical reviews.
- Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Attend and lead project meetings, providing expert technical input and advice.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Requirements- Degree, HNC, or HND qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience delivering electrical building services projects across a range of sectors.
- Proficiency with electrical design software such as Amtech, Trimble ProDesign, or equivalent.
- Experience using Revit and BIM workflows would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage projects, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams.
