A growing engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Junior CAD Technician to join its team in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career looking to gain hands‑on experience within a professional engineering environment while working on a range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

The role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, good technical aptitude and an interest in developing a long‑term career within CAD and engineering design.

The Role

You’ll support the production and modification of CAD drawings across live engineering projects while working closely with experienced technicians and engineers. The role will also involve supporting document management and project administration activities, helping ensure drawings and technical information are issued and maintained correctly throughout project delivery. You’ll receive ongoing support and mentoring, with opportunities to further develop your skills in AutoCAD, MicroStation and wider CAD software within a collaborative team environment.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong IT skills and ability to learn new software quickly

  • Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation would be beneficial
