Are you an ambitious structural engineer looking for your next step up? This role would suit an engineer with several years of buildings structures design experience in all the main materials, who can hit the ground running in a design role and take responsibility for your own projects.
Excellent training for Chartership is offered (if not yet achieved) and you will not just be stuck in a number crunching role. Staff turnover is low and career progression is very real.
Workload is very varied including:
- bespoke houses for private clients
- schools
- arts and leisure projects
- basements
- report and insurance claim work
- commercial, retail and healthcare buildings, both new build and refurb
The projects range from £2 million and above. In addition to basic salary, there are 25 days holiday, Chartership fees paid, pension, and a flexible and friendly work environment. The office is close to the train station and parking is also available.
