Key responsibilities

  • Providing environmental advice, guidance and support to project delivery teams across construction sites.
  • Carrying out environmental inspections, audits and monitoring activities, ensuring findings are communicated and actions implemented.
  • Supporting compliance with ISO14001, ISO50001 and environmental licences, permits and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of environmental documentation, including Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs), waste management plans and environmental risk assessments.
  • Monitoring energy consumption and carbon performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and reducing environmental impact.
  • Supporting water pollution prevention measures and effective silt management on construction projects.
  • Contributing to sustainability initiatives and environmental awareness campaigns across the business.

Required experience and skills
