We're looking to grow a friendly and supportive team with the addition of a Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer / Civil Engineer, open from Engineer through to Senior level. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years' experience in development infrastructure who wants to work on a variety of projects, contributing to flood risk, drainage and civil engineering solutions from concept through to delivery.
The Role
You'll be involved in the design and delivery of drainage and flood risk solutions across a range of development projects, working closely with engineers and wider project teams. Responsibilities will include:
- Designing drainage systems and sustainable drainage solutions for new developments
- Supporting the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Supporting projects from planning through to detailed and construction design
- Producing technical drawings and design outputs
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Contributing to practical and sustainable engineering solutions
What We're Looking For
- Experience in flood risk and/or drainage design within development projects
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
- Proficiency in: AutoCAD (essential), Causeway Flow or similar drainage software, Civil 3D (desirable)
- Understanding of the development lifecycle from planning to construction
- Proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
