Overview In this role you will drive the front-end bid process for a Mayfair-based main contractor, shaping competitive tender submissions to win high-profile projects. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and delivery teams to translate scope into accurate estimates and Bo Qs. If you have Quantity Surveying experience, you may extend into post-contract commercial management to oversee value, variations, and final accounts. This is a fast-paced, agile environment with significant impact on project wins and commercial performance. Pay / Benefits permanent contract salary 65,000–70,000 DOE central Mayfair location collaborative work environment Responsibilities Manage full tender and bidding cycle from enquiry to submission to secure target projects Analyze drawings, specs, and scope to prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and Bo Q Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to capture full scope Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities during tender Prepare tender settlement reports for leadership sign-off (Bonus) handle post-contract commercial duties including interim valuations, variations, and final accounts (Bonus) manage subcontractor procurement and cost reporting on live jobs Key requirements Proven Estimator experience with UK main contractors (high-end residential, fit-out, or commercial exposure preferred) Track record of winning bids and profitable schemes Strong negotiation, numerical, and analytical abilities Proactive, agile, fast-paced professional Available to start immediately or on short notice QS experience is a plus but not mandatory negotiation analytical thinking proactiveness cost estimation Bo Q preparation cost plans
