An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services consultancy. This independent engineering consultancy has been delivering innovative building services solutions for over 25 years, earning an excellent reputation across the healthcare, commercial, education, residential, life sciences, leisure and public sectors.
The business is known for its collaborative approach, technical excellence and commitment to sustainable, low-carbon design. The Birmingham office is currently entering an exciting period of expansion, with ambitious plans to double the size of the team over the next two years.
As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across a wide range of sectors. Working alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will support projects from concept through to completion. This role offers excellent exposure to technically challenging projects and provides genuine opportunities for career progression as the Birmingham office continues to grow.
- Producing electrical building services designs including power, lighting, small power and associated systems.
- Coordinating designs with mechanical, sustainability and BIM teams.
- Supporting projects through all RIBA stages.
- Working across a variety of sectors including healthcare, commercial, education and residential.
Requirements:
- A degree, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience designing electrical building services systems.
- Knowledge of relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux or similar.
- An understanding of current building regulations and industry standards.
