Job Description
Are you a Design Manager who thrives on technical complexity? Do you enjoy leading design from early stages through delivery on large, high-rise residential projects? Looking to join a stable, family-owned business with a strong project pipeline in North London?
This Design Manager role is with a medium-large sized, family-owned established main contractor with over 40 years of industry experience. They specialise in delivering complex residential schemes in collaboration with investors, housing associations and developers. Known for their hands-on, collaborative approach, they have built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and long-term client relationships.
They are now looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their growing team and take ownership of design delivery across high-rise, fire remediation/recladding residential projects.
Experience required:
- Ideally a minimum 5 years\β experience as a Design Manager
- Tender/PCSA management experience
- Experience working for a main contractor or developer
- Experience delivering high-rise residential projects ideally from RIBA Stages 3-5
- Dealing with building regulations and gateway applications and submitting them
- Reviewing drawings against building regulation approvals
- Ideally experience in faade, recladding or remediation
