Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design management process on new-build projects
- Coordinate between consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
- Drive technical delivery and manage design risks and compliance
- Support planning applications and ensure buildable, cost-effective solutions
- Chair design meetings and report into the senior leadership team
Requirements
- Experience working for a main contractor as a Design Manager
- Track record delivering a variety of project types (not just residential)
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction buildability
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines
- Based in or able to cover sites across the Northern Home Counties
