A privately owned and family-run practice of specialist consulting engineers requires an experienced BIM/CAD Manager to join their team. They provide services worldwide for ports and harbour engineering and container terminals across the globe. Experience of working on similar projects would be advantageous. The firm has an excellent reputation in its specialist field and has been running for many years.
You should be a confident team player with experience in areas such as reinforced concrete, steel piles and structures, bridges, wharf structures, jetties, container terminals, quay structures, heavy-duty pavements and marine design (e.g. breakwaters etc.). You must have extensive experience with Revit and AutoCAD in a Civil/Structural Design consultancy and the ability to take a lead role in the business.
The position is full-time at the Kingston office with the possibility of occasional short international trips, and includes medical insurance, 25 days holiday and pension in addition to basic salary.
The role will involve managing all CAD/BIM deliverables across the company's UK and international offices. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met and providing guidance to junior technicians.
