An exciting opportunity is available for a Civil Engineer to join a growing, multidisciplinary consultancy based in their Bristol office. You\’ll become part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking team working on projects that have a genuine impact on the built environment.

Their Bristol office provides an exceptional place to work. Set within a striking double‑height studio with mezzanine space, the office is filled with natural light and features modern kitchen, dining and meeting areas. Based in central Bristol, the team of around 20 professionals spans civil engineering, transport planning, water environment and business services, creating a highly sociable and collaborative working environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing drainage strategies and engineering reports to support planning applications
- Producing technical drawings including sketch and preliminary highway designs, drainage and external works layouts
- Delivering ground modelling and S104, S278 and S38 designs through to technical approval
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders and external project teams
- Undertaking site visits when required
- Obtaining third‑party information such as utility searches and background drawings
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design team
This is primarily a desk‑based role with occasional site visits, offering a strong balance of technical delivery and team collaboration.
