An established and highly respected civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a CAD Technician to join their growing team in Sussex. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong technician to work closely with engineers and senior technicians, producing high-quality coordinated drawings across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for the production and coordination of CAD drawings, working closely with engineers to ensure design intent is accurately translated into clear, buildable technical output. This role will involve supporting the delivery of civil engineering design information across multiple projects, ensuring consistency, clarity, and technical accuracy throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing and developing CAD drawings for civil engineering projects
- Supporting engineers by highlighting design changes that may impact engineering outputs
- Checking drawings thoroughly before issuing to engineers for review
