Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support delivery across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of health and safety systems across civil engineering projects
- Promote a proactive safety culture across site teams and project delivery functions
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with current HSE legislation and company procedures
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits across active project sites
- Identify, record, and track non-conformances (NCRs) through to effective close‑out
- Assist in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and lessons learned
- Support the introduction of new processes, technologies, and safe working practices
- Liaise with site teams, engineers, and management to maintain high safety standards
- Experience working with health and safety management systems (ISO45001 preferred)
- NEBOSH qualification - ideally in Construction (or equivalent)
- CSCS card
- Driving licence
- Work on a variety of long‑term civil engineering and infrastructure projects
