Senior Project Piling Engineer in Caerphilly

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a major civil engineering project, taking responsibility for the engineering, quality and technical delivery of specialist piling and ground engineering works. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong experience in rotary bored piling, CFA piling and/or pile load testing to take a key role within an established project team. The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and Construction Supervisor, you will provide engineering oversight of the works, ensuring they are delivered safely and in accordance with the required design, quality and contractual standards. Your responsibilities will include: Providing engineering oversight for piling and ground engineering activities Ensuring construction complies with design information and quality requirements Monitoring and evaluating variations in ground conditions Producing and maintaining method statements, risk assessments and ITPs Managing temporary works compliance Raising, reviewing and closing out non-conformance reports Preparing and completing lift plans Managing rig instrumentation records and producing production graphs Producing and maintaining accurate as-built drawings and site records Liaising with designers regarding variations and technical queries Working closely with the Construction Supervisor to ensure works are properly planned and safely executed Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers and other key stakeholders Maintaining daily diaries and detailed project records Attending and contributing to weekly progress meetings Coordinating with the Project Manager and site team to ensure appropriate resources are available Supporting procurement and liaison with suppliers Driving improvements in production, quality and site performance Commercial
