Our client is looking to add an experienced Site Engineer to join their team in delivering major infrastructure works. This Site Engineer role will include various responsibilities such as ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with relevant standards. As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in interpreting technical designs, coordinating site activities, and supporting programme delivery across your section of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand design specifications and drawings
- Carry out accurate setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment
- Deliver setting out for earthworks and drainage
- Review design information and raise technical queries to the Section Engineer to ensure smooth workflow
- Contribute to the 4-week lookahead programme for your area's works
- Work closely with supervisors and the Section Engineer to co‑ordinate effectively with other site activities
- Support delivery of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Identify, report, and close out Non‑Conformances (NCRs)
- Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, enabling functions, and client representatives
About You
- Experience delivering earthworks and drainage
- Competent with GPS and Total Station equipment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proactive and quality‑driven approach
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure projects
- A valid and relevant CSCS card
- A full UK driving license
